The 18 hole golf course of Le Pavoniere has been designed by Arnold Palmer, the famous American golf champion. The Golf Course is only 3 km outside Prato, the old industrial and manufacturing centre nearby Florence. The perfect integration of the linearity of the course and the landscape make this a lovely place to play.
FACILITIES: driving range, putting green, pitching green, practice sand traps, pro shop, swimming pool, sauna, gym, "five-a-side" soccer, tennis courts, snack bar, and restaurant.
Directions: from autostrada Firenze-Mare, take exit Prato Ovest. Bear to the right in direction Prato Centro; once at the roundabout, turn right and follow direction for Poggio a Caiano. At the end of a long rectilinear stretch, after 3 lights, at the roundabout, turn left and go straight on until the entrance of the Golf Club.
