Montecatini Golf Club in Italy
The Montecatini Golf Club is surrounded by the green of the Tuscan countryside, and it is an 18 hole course designed by the architect Croze, who integrated the hilly landscape and the golf course with perfection.
The course is complex and difficult with the presence of natural water hazards laying a trap in the game of almost five of 18 holes.
The course has a number of holes that are of extraordinary technical and scenic attraction. From the green of hole 9 one can take in, with a single glance, the first nine holes of the course featuring olive trees that mark the delicate dog legs of the fairways and the boundaries of the course. There are two lakes that add to the excitement of the game at holes 5, 10 and 18, while on the 2nd hole you are immediately aware of the Mediterranean scrub image with the colours and scent of the heather, broom, undergrowth and laurel, which are a delight to view.
